大家好!我是AlexWong,曾于2009至2010年在諾亞國(guó)際英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)?，F(xiàn)在在美國(guó)念高中，將于今年秋天考入威斯康星大學(xué)繼續(xù)學(xué)習(xí)。在這里我想談?wù)勚Z亞以及諾亞帶給我的改變。

首先，諾亞擁有一批很優(yōu)秀的外教及中教老師。我遇到的外教學(xué)識(shí)淵博并且很有趣，他們教會(huì)了我很多英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)的方法以及外國(guó)文化。我遇見(jiàn)了很多美國(guó)老師(V和Marchello)，他們幫助我建立說(shuō)英語(yǔ)的信心。自信是學(xué)外語(yǔ)的關(guān)鍵，但有時(shí)它也成為難以克服的障礙。在他們的幫助和鼓勵(lì)下，我輕松的克服了障礙，有他們當(dāng)老師總是很快樂(lè)。我依稀記得V和Marchello上課的情形，有他們的課堂總是充滿了歡聲笑語(yǔ)。他們的課堂既輕松又教會(huì)了我知識(shí)。這只是我個(gè)人與外教相處的經(jīng)歷，我相信很多其他朋友跟我有相似的感受。我的中教老師都很有耐心，對(duì)人友好。當(dāng)我的課程出現(xiàn)任何問(wèn)題時(shí)，他們總是很耐心的幫我解決，我從內(nèi)心深處感謝他們?？傊?，在諾亞我度過(guò)了一段美好的時(shí)光。

另一點(diǎn)我想說(shuō)的是，諾亞盡全力為學(xué)員提供了非常溫馨舒適的全英文環(huán)境，這是學(xué)習(xí)一門語(yǔ)言非常重要的條件。當(dāng)然，也會(huì)有學(xué)員有意無(wú)意的打破這種純英文環(huán)境，畢竟沒(méi)有什么是完美的。在諾亞，會(huì)碰到志同道合的朋友，成就一段友誼。在一起上課很容易就會(huì)變成朋友，這種友情會(huì)一直延續(xù)。我碰到了很多同齡人，他們也打算去美國(guó)念書，我們一起分享經(jīng)歷，為未來(lái)美國(guó)的生活做準(zhǔn)備。我認(rèn)識(shí)了兩個(gè)女生，她們分別去了美國(guó)和英國(guó)，現(xiàn)在我們還保持密切的聯(lián)系，這些，都是諾亞給我的。

最后，我想給大家一些學(xué)英語(yǔ)的建議。記單詞方面，拋開傳統(tǒng)的詞匯書，讀一些英文原版作品，在閱讀中記憶單詞，挑出生單詞，在上下文中更好的理解每個(gè)單詞的用法。當(dāng)一個(gè)單詞反復(fù)在文中出現(xiàn)，記憶起來(lái)就會(huì)更簡(jiǎn)單。我們不僅在閱讀中記憶了單詞，也拓展了自己的知識(shí)面，一箭雙雕!當(dāng)然，每個(gè)人適合的方法不同，有些人也許更喜歡直接的記憶單詞，但如果你還沒(méi)試過(guò)我的方法，不妨嘗試一下咯，挑戰(zhàn)新鮮事物總是很有趣的!提到說(shuō)英語(yǔ)，自信點(diǎn)兒，這是必經(jīng)的一步，沒(méi)有具體變得自信的方法，完全取決于個(gè)人。問(wèn)問(wèn)自己的心，有多想說(shuō)一口標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的英語(yǔ)，有多想達(dá)成下一個(gè)目標(biāo)!自信，一切障礙都不會(huì)成為問(wèn)題。

Greetingstoyouall!MynameisAlexWong.IamaformerstudentatRoyalEnglishfrom2009to2010.IattendedhighschoolintheUSandIwillbeastudentatUniversityofWisconsin-Madisonthisfall.I'mwritingthisletterinhopetoconveymyopinionsofRoyalEnglishandhowithadchangedme.

Firstoff,RoyalEnglishhassomeveryfineteachers,bothforeignanddomestic.TheforeignteachersIhadencounteredwereallveryfun-lovingandknowledgeable.TheyhadtaughtmemuchabouttheEnglishlanguageandculture.InmycaseIhadamajorityofAmericanteachers(VandMarchellotobespecific),andbothofthemdidafabulousjobhelpingmetobeconfidentinspeakingtheEnglishlanguage.Bingconfidentinspeakinganewlanguageiskey,andoftentimesitisthemostdifficultbarriertoovee.Withtheirhelpandencouragement,Iwasabletooveethatobstaclewithease.Furthermore,itwasalwaysfunhavingthemasteachers.IstillrememberhavingclasseswithbothVandMarchelloandsometimesthewholeclassperiodwasfilledwithlaughter.Theydefinitelytrytomaketheclassasrelaxingaspossiblewhileteachingmesomeveryvaluablelessons.Thisisjustmyexperiencewiththeforeignteachers,butIamsurethatmanyothersarelikethesame.ThedomesticteachersIhavebefriendedwithwereverypatientandkind.ForexampletheywerealwaysverypatientandfriendlywhenIhadissuesschedulingcoursesandIamverygratefulforthat.OverallitwasarealpleasureworkingwithalloftheteachersatRoyalEnglish.

AnotheraspectIlikedaboutRoyalEnglishisthatithastheoptimalenvironmentfortrueEnglishlearners.TheytrytheirbesttocreateanEnglish-onlyenvironmentwhichisessentialtolearningaforeignlanguage.OfcoursetheirwouldbepeoplewhobreakthisEnglish-onlyruleintentionallyorunintentionally,butnothingisperfect.Also,youwillmeetgreatpeople(students)likeyouatRoyal.TheenvironmentatRoyalfostersgreatfriendships.Thepeopleyougotoclasseswithwillsoonbeyourfriends,andthatfriendshipdoeslastforalongtime.InmycaseImetmanypeopleofmyagewhowereabouttogototheUSforschool.WewereabletoshareexperiencesandhelpeachotherpreparingfortheuingadventuresintheUS.IstillkeepintouchwithagirlwhogoestoschoolinEnglandandanothergirlwhogoestoschoolintheUS,bothofwhomImetatRoyalEnglish.

FinallyIwouldliketoofferyousometipsinlearningEnglish.Regardingmemorizingvocabularies,IsuggesttossingawaythetraditionalvocabbookandreadoriginalEnglishliterature.Youwillpickupunfamiliarwordsasyougoanditiseasiertounderstandtheusageofthewordwithinthecontext.Also,Ifinditmucheasiertomemorizethewordonceyou'veseenittimesaftertimesinyourreadings.Itisagoodwaytohittwobirdswithonestone:youwillnotonlybeabletomemorizethewordandunderstanditsmeaningandusage,butalsoacquireknowledgefromwhateverarticlesorbooksyouarereading.Ofcourse,itisnotthebestwayforeveryone.Someofyoumayfinditeasiertojustplainlymemorizethevocabs.Regardless,ifyouhavenevertriedmymethod,giveitashot.It'salwaysfuntotryoutnewwaystodothings!Asforspeakingthelanguage,justbeconfident.Itisthesteppingstonetobingafluentspeaker.Thereisnorealmethodastohowtobeconfident.Itisreallyuptoyou.Askyourselfhowbaddoyouwanttobefluent?OrhowsoondoyouwanttoachieveyournextgoalinlearningEnglish?Onceyou'reconfident,allotherobstacleswillfalllikedominoes.
