很多公司都會鼓勵員工在工作累了就休息一下,等精神恢復(fù)了再繼續(xù)工作。不過最新的研究顯示,如果這些休息和工作無關(guān)的話,反而會影響工作效率。
CharlotteFritz,anassistantprofessorinpsychologyatPortlandStateUniversity,tellsHarvardBusinessReviewthattheseshortbreaks—checkinguponyourfamilyormakingpersonalphonecalls—were"sometimesevenassociatedwithincreasedweariness."
美國波特蘭州立大學(xué)的心理學(xué)助理教授CharlotteFritz告訴《哈佛商業(yè)評論》說,如果休息的時候是在查看家里人在忙些什么或者打私人電話的話,那么這樣的休息反而會讓人感到更加疲勞。

然而,如果員工的休息是和工作相關(guān)的話,比如在午休的時候進行頭腦風(fēng)暴,或者表揚一個同事,那么他們在休息后精神會更加振奮?!斑@種觀點想說明的就是,如果你一直處于工作狀態(tài)中,那么你將會做得更好,感覺也會更加良好?!?/p>

當(dāng)Fritz研究放假對員工的影響時,她指出放假對于員工的身心都是有益的,不過一旦假期結(jié)束,這種益處就會在兩到三周內(nèi)很快消退。要更好地利用放假帶來的好處,那就最好多放幾次小長假,而不是把所有假期集中到一起放一個大假。
